The mission of London International Gospel Choir is to get people singing together and enjoying themselves. They sing both secular and non-secular music in a ‘gospel style’ – rich in harmony and full of movement and expression. Their repertoire ranges from gospel classics to jazz, pop, R ‘n’ B, funk, Spirituals and the root of it all: African Song.
The choir regularly sings numbers by Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Whitney Houston, Kirk Franklin, Kurt Carr, Israel Houghton; songs from shows like ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and films like ‘The Blues Brothers’, ‘The Preacher’s Wife’ and, of course, both Sister Acts.
First set 8.00pm – 8.50pm
Second set 9.10pm – 10.00pm
Food served until 9.00pm
Drinks served until 10.00pm
Cafe open to jazz ticket holders only from 6.30pm
