We are pleased to welcome Florence XinYi Aitken who will be baptised at the 10am Eucharist, her parents Anna and Andrew and her godparents and family.
We would like to welcome Dean Xolani Dlwathi and his daughter Vuyolwethu who arrived from South Africa for a six week sabbatical. Three of these weeks they will be with us at St Martin’s as part of our partnership with St Mary’s Cathedral Johannesburg. Dean Xolani is our celebrant today and our preacher on Sunday 1 July. They will be taking part in our worship, Friends Festival, and meeting the choir and clergy as we plan our Choir visit to Johannesburg this September. They will also stay at Hilfield Friary, Westcott House Theological College, and Manchester Cathedral. Please keep them in your prayers as we continue to deepen our partnership in the Gospel.

Sunday 17 June/Inspired to Follow: Art and the Bible Story 12:00pm in the Austen Williams Room. The last in our current series, looking at Fra Angelico’s glorious painting of ‘Christ Glorified in the Court of Heaven’ and reflecting on the New Jerusalem. The last session with Alastair McKay before he leaves us, with the usual opportunity to engage with a National Gallery painting, Biblical story and a theological reflection, in conversation with others.

Sheppard Scholars is a new Pastoral Assistant scheme at HeartEdge hub churches to support new and refreshed mission and ministry projects. Pilgrimage to Canterbury Thank you to all who sponsored our International Group on the pilgrimage. Through your generosity we were able to raise more than £2,350 for the Connection. It was a wonderful pilgrimage in hot sun and a huge thank-you goes to Eugene Ling and many others who helped, participated or joined us for the final service in Canterbury.
