Today/Alastair McKay – Alastair has coming to the end of his three-year half-time curacy with us and this is his final Sunday. We are glad for what he’s given us and wish him every blessing for his future. Today/Book Sale: it’s back! A veritable phantasmagoria of books for sale this morning at the usual ridiculous prices. Proceeds to relief in the Yemen.

A Memorial Eucharist for Dorothy Cone will be held at St Martin-in-the Fields on Wednesday 27 June at 1.00pm followed by a reception in St Martin’s Hall. All those who would like to give thanks for her life are welcome both to the service and to the reception afterwards. As Dorothy had no immediate next of kin the arrangements for her funeral have still not yet been confirmed but we will give details as soon as they are known.

This week/Bread for the World, Wednesday 23 May at 6.30pm. Everyone is welcome at our informal Eucharist, a service with prayer, music, word and reflection, followed by food and fellowship. Revd Jonathan Evens will be sharing on the Spirit and popular music.

Club Wednesday 4 July: we meet for lunch after the 1pm Choral Eucharist followed by a talk by the St Martin’s Trust, who will tell us how they are raising funds to support the life and future ministry of St Martin’s.

St Martin’s at Pride Saturday 7 July. St Martin’s members and friends will once again be marching to represent our parish in the annual LGBTQI Pride Parade. Our taking part in the march witnesses to our church as a sign of hope and a place of welcome to people of all genders and orientations. We will meet for prayers in St Martin-in-the-Fields at 9.30am before heading off to join other Christians and religious contingents. Sibyl Allen’s Funeral will take place at St Martin-in-the-Fields on Wednesday 18 July at 11.00am. It will be followed by a reception at 6 St Martin’s Place in the Austen Williams Room and George Richards Room. All are welcome. It will be followed by short service at Hither Green Crematorium at 2.30pm for Sibyl’s family.

Remembering Srebrenica West London Synagogue are holding a special memorial service for the victims of the Srebrenica Genocide on this 23rd anniversary on Friday 13 July at 6.00pm, with prayers and personal testimony from Marijela Hašimbegović who survived the genocide and is now Director of the Sarajevo National Theatre.
