Join us for a festive lunchtime concert as the Will Harmer Jazz Trio, featuring Matt Venvell and Mark McQuillan and vocals by Gabriella Liandu, brings the spirit of the season to life with a special Christmas jazz performance. Expect jazzy Christmas favourites, including White Christmas, Frosty the Snowman and The Christmas Song, with a sprinkling of classic standards to get your festive spirits up!
This concert promises to add a swing to your step as you embrace the festive spirit.

Will Harmer is a London-based pianist and composer. He has performed recitals at Cheltenham Festival, St James’ Piccadilly and SJE Arts Oxford and is a 2024-25 Oxford Song Young Artist. As a composer, Will won the BBC Proms Inspire Composition Competition and has been commissioned by the BBC Singers, National Youth Choir, Oxford International Song and Ludlow English Song festivals. Will is also an active singer in the London choral scene, singing regularly with St Martin’s Voices and Temple Singers. Will studied at Worcester College, Oxford and recently completed a composition MMus at the Royal Academy of Music.
Matt Venvell is an experienced drummer and producer based in London, UK. A graduate of Oxford University, he has spent the last few years working as Head of Music and Production at St Paul’s Church, Shadwell. He also has a prolific freelance career, performing with top jazz and pop artists across the South East, most notably with the Felix Fardell Quartet. Matt has also just returned from a career break travelling across South America and East Asia.
Mark McQuillan is a bassist, songwriter and recent graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Mark can be heard in many contexts from straight ahead jazz to Brazilian music and musical theatre. Mark has performed at Jazz in the Round and led his own band at the London Jazz festival. Mark will soon be releasing music with his original vocal project, Testaments.
