The Conversation: Helena Kennedy

Monday 08 July 2024

7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The Conversation is a new series, held in the atmospheric Crypt with writers interviewed about big issues facing the world, followed by your chance to continue The Conversation afterwards.

From pay gaps, social media malice and women’s prisons, to the relentlessly atrocious statistics on abuse, rape and murder, the human rights lawyer and working peer examines the structural inequalities in politics and law that are failing women. Helena Kennedy is the author of Misjustice: How British Law is Failing Women, Just Law and Eve Was Framed. Chaired by Caitlin McNamara.

The main talk held in the atmospheric Crypt is followed by an informal discussion. The discussion is free to attend for ticketholders.

If you cannot attend in-person, this talk will also be streamed live online. For tickets to watch online, click here.
