Satwinder Pal Singh, born on July 12th, 1993, in Moga, Punjab, began his musical journey at the age of 11 under the tutelage of his father, Ustad S. Shaminder Pal Singh, a renowned sarangi player and disciple of Sarangi Sammrat Padma Bhushan Ustad Sabri Khan Saheb. Drawing from his family’s rich musical heritage, Satwinder received intense training in sarangi and saranda, and had the invaluable opportunity to learn directly from Ustad Sabri Khan Saheb. He has continued his studies under the esteemed Sarangi Maestro Padma Vibhushan Pandit Ram Narayan Ji and his grandson, Pt. Harsh Narayan. Satwinder has performed at prestigious festivals in India and abroad, including the 115th Nana Panse Sangeet Mahotsav and the 54th Swami Haridas Sangeet Sammelan, and has collaborated with legends such as Ustad Zakir Hussain, Ustad Taufiq Qureshi, and Pandit Ravi Chari, enriching his musical experience and showcasing his exceptional talent.
