Christmas with Soul Sanctuary
Wednesday 18 December 2024
8:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir and comedian, writer, TV presenter and all-round national treasure Mel Giedroyc will be lifting the roof off at St Martin-in-the-Fields with re-imaginings of gospel and soul Christmas classics by the likes of Mervyn Warren, Quincy Jones et al (And He Shall Purify from Handel’s Messiah) and by Soul Sanctuary itself. All interspersed with seasonal jollity from Mel.
Celebrating the seventh anniversary of its first appearance at St Martin-in-the-Fields, Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir is a London-based gospel choir committed to creating and performing contemporary gospel of the highest standard as widely as possible, to spread a message of faith, hope, and love.
“Soul Sanctuary are just amazing…the spirit they have when they’re singing…” Mica Paris, December 2020
