St Martin’s Junior Choir was founded in 2022 to offer children the opportunity to experience high-quality choral music and actively participate in the liturgy at St Martin-in-the-Fields. Open to boys and girls aged 7-13, the choir is led by esteemed director Polina Sosnina and is deeply rooted in St Martin’s rich musical tradition.
Starting in September 2025, the Junior Choir will lead a new Sunday noon service at St Martin’s. They will also rehearse for an hour on Monday evenings alongside engaging workshops designed to enhance their musical abilities and develop their understanding of music theory. All sessions take place during term time, with breaks aligning with state school holidays.
This exceptional opportunity provides professional-level musical training—completely free of charge—while fostering lasting friendships and offering unforgettable experiences, such as performing in our annual sold-out Christmas concerts and recording for BBC Radio 3.
