A larger-than-life programme of extraordinary music by Felix Mendelssohn and Roxanna Panufnik. Soprano Theano Papadaki and baritone George Robarts team up with the Kyan Quartet, to perform two rare gems of the repertoire. Join them to hear Mendelssohn’s best-loved songs in enchanting transcriptions by Aribert Reimann, and Panufnik’s humour-filled and highly charged settings of letters from the First World War. This electric and entertaining programme will offer something for everyone.
