St Martin-in-the-Fields is pleased to share some good news about our phased re-opening.
Throughout the pandemic, our community has grown rather than retreated, despite the challenges of lockdown. Our online worship and cultural engagement is reaching and sustaining more people than ever but, as the ‘church of the ever-open doors’, we strive for interactions beyond the digital.
With that in mind, we are delighted to announce the transformation of our courtyard into a lovely new Prayer Garden, where all are welcome to meditate, pray and discover peace and stillness at the heart of London.
Our outdoor Café will also be returning soon for takeaway, offering our famous hospitality from our courtyard at weekends.
We hope to share even more details about our re-opening plan with you shortly. We’re sure you will appreciate that we are approaching this cautiously and following expert advice. The safety of our staff and the wider community we serve must always be our first priority.
We are delighted to be discovering new opportunities to engage with London and the world, imagining the possibilities of a new future together.
