Anne Duffin RIP. It is with sadness and great thanksgiving for her life that we inform you that Anne Duffin died peacefully on the 2 January after a short illness. Anne attended St Martin’s for many years and was a huge inspiration to many of us, contributing so much to the life of our church and leading the meditation group so faithfully for many years. Her funeral will be held on Thursday 31 January at 11.00am at her local church St Michael’s Elmwood Road, Chiswick. All are welcome.

This termly open meeting gathers people with insight or experience of physical, sensory, cognitive or mental health issues to help shape our vision and work. We will be holding an open session, presentation and discussion on Modern Day Slavery and Human Trafficking led by Huw Mathias, St Martin’s Church Safeguarding Officer. Electoral Roll Renewal: Under the Church Representation Rules, we are required to form a new Electoral Roll in 2019 (as part of the 6 year cycle which the rules specify). Everyone who wishes to be included on the new Roll, whether they are on the present Roll or not, must complete an application form by Sunday 24 March at the latest. Application forms are available from the PCC Duty member in the Hall after the 10am service, from the Vergers at other times, from our new Church Coordinator Harriet Rabin (harriet.rabin@smitf.org /020 7766 1126) or via the St Martin’s website. Completed forms can be returned to Harriet via post or email. To be on the Electoral Roll, you have to be aged 16 or over, a baptised member of the Church of England or of another Church (in communion with the CofE) and be resident in the parish or have worshipped here regularly for the last 6 months. Only those who are on the electoral roll are entitled to vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting, which this year takes place on 28 April.
