This termly open meeting gathers people with insight or experience of physical, sensory, cognitive or mental health issues to help shape our vision and work. Summer pattern of services. Bread For the World is continuing through the summer at 6.3opm on Wednesday with a soloist but the supper and groups will take a break, resuming on 5 September. Until the end of August Mondays at 4.30pm will be a service of Evening Prayer in the DSC and our Wednesday 1pm Eucharist will be a said service. Sacred Space takes a break in August and resumes on Sunday 2 September at 7pm.
This week/Archers/Thursday 26 July, 7.00pm, Austen Williams Room. Archers begins with Holy Communion followed by summer supper and discussion on ‘The Joys of Summer’. Please let Michael Moran or Ruth Hutchinson know if you are coming. All are welcome.
This week/Wedding/Saturday 28 July, 12.30pm, St Martin-in-the-Fields. The wedding of Anne, elder daughter of John and Rose Chamberlain, to Lionel, will take place here this week. Members of the congregation are welcome to attend the service.
Next week/St Luke’s Day Liturgy Workshop/Sunday 29 July, 12-1pm, Austen Williams Room. Disability Advisory Group and Healing Team members will be writing parts of the St Luke’s Day service, in a workshop led by Sam Wells. We hope to deepen our understanding of disability and of healing as we prepare this annual Eucharist and Healing Service together. All are welcome to join us.
