Today/Prayers for Healing with anointing and laying on of hands are offered by our healing team at the 10.00am service each Sunday morning at the front of the church near the altar.
Today/Drawing Club/Sunday 8 July, 12-2pm, Glass Box. Each month for two hours the drawing club meets and draws together. The aim of this group is to encourage and practice together. Materials, objects to draw and step-by-step help for those beginners who would like it are all provided. So no previous experience is necessary and all are welcome.
This week/Bread for the World/Wednesday 11 July, 6.30pm. Everyone is welcome at this informal Eucharist, a service with prayer, music, word and reflection, followed by food and fellowship.
This week/Together Against Trump Demonstration/Friday 13 July, from 2pm, Portland Place. Today in an open letter, Douglas Board, a long-time member of our congregation, writer and consultant, who actively campaigned against apartheid, calls on members of our community to reflect upon the planned visit of Donald Trump and on taking a stand against some of the injustices and human rights violations of our time. He will be handing out his letter after the 10.00am Eucharist and there is also a link to it in the Parish Pipeline. A national Together Against Trump demonstration meets outside Portland Place at 2.00pm for a march to Trafalgar Square where a rally will take place from 5.00-7.00pm.
This week/Remembering Srebrenica/Friday 13 July, 6pm, West London Synagogue, 34, Upper Berkeley Street, London W1. West London Synagogue are holding a special memorial service for the victims of the Srebrenica Genocide on this 23rd anniversary with prayers and personal testimony from Marijela Hašimbegović, who survived the genocide and is now Director of the Sarajevo National Theatre. The service will be followed by a reception at 6 St Martin’s Place in the Austen Williams Room and George Richards Room. All are welcome. It will be followed by short service at Hither Green Crematorium at 2.30pm for Sibyl’s family.

This month/The changing monthly display by the artists and craftspeoples group in the Foyer of the Crypt for July is by Ruth Hutchinson. Each month a different member of the group or artists linked to it will show examples of their work, so do look regularly to see the changing display.
Coming Up/Faith and LGBT: Building Bridges in a Polarised World/Wednesday 25 July, 6.30pm, Leicester Cathedral. Inclusive Church’s annual lecture will be given by Ruth Hunt, CEO Stonewall. Coming Up/St Luke’s Day Liturgy Workshop/Sunday 29 July, 12-1pm, Austen Williams Room. Disability Advisory Group and Healing Team members will be writing parts of the St Luke’s Day service, in a workshop led by Sam Wells. We hope to deepen our understanding of disability and of healing as we prepare this annual Eucharist and Healing Service together. All are welcome to join us.
